ARTIST PROFILE

.Winifred E. I Omoaka is a multi-disciplined artist whose practice primarily consists of drawing and painting, with textile based mediums as a secondary resource . The use of watercolours, acrylics, coffee and textiles are some of the materials that manifests her vision on embracing the Christian faith and the beauty of the green world.

Omoaka's motives revolve around appropriating the supernatural through the observations of scriptures and of the environment around her. Omoaka's objective to the crafts is to firstly show reverence to God. she uses her talents as an instrument of worship, and in that she hopes to share an insight on ow she views the entity she's subjected to. Omoaka also aims to edify the human soul - To share truth, wisdom , counsel and compassion of the higher realm through the Good News (Gospel).

As an artist of the faith it is one's purpose to appropriately to share sound doctrine of man through the gifts and creations of the Creator, bearing the visions required for the Christian artist. Which are the vision of the world, of one's self, and of God.

Winifred would like her work to evoke peace and understanding of the Gospel. the idea is not to invite the people into her world of imagination and journey that she has with Christ, but rather to lead people own to seek for the Father in Heaven and obtain Salvation. she giving the viewers the gift that the author of the Earth has given her - life.
